Happy Friday, friends!
I’m back with another tag from the lovely E.G. Bella! Thank you so much, Bella!
- Answer the questions below on your blog.
- Tag at least a couple other bloggers.
- Have them answer these questions.
Now onto the questions!
1. What’s your favorite book/book series and why?
This is SUCH a hard question. How can you pick just one?? I’ll go with Blood of Kings trilogy by Jill Williamson because it’s medieval fantasy, it uses one of my most favorite tropes (the-girl-disguised-as-a-guy trope), and the romance is adorable.
2. Who is your favorite author?
I have SO many favorite authors, but Brandon Sanderson is one of my all-time favorite fantasy writers because his worlds are so rich in detail and his characters are memorable and unique, which is what I strive to do in my own stories.
3. What is your favorite food?
I love anything having to do with pasta, so probably spaghetti or lasagna.
4. What gives you inspiration for your books?
Since I’m very visually-oriented, I often get story ideas from Pinterest art and photos I save. I also get ideas from real life stories and biographies I read. Characters often come first for me when I get an idea, so a haunting picture of someone on Pinterest or a story about a unique person is usually all I need to create a story from.
5. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Oh gracious. That’s such a hard question because there are so many places I’d like to live, and I’ve already moved around quite a lot! At the end of the day, though, I’d like to live wherever my family is at the moment because that’s where home is.
6. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I am a hardcore introvert! While I enjoy being around people, I have a limit, and I love my alone time even more. I would say that it’s gotten easier for me to be around people and talk to them over the years, but I’m not any less introverted. I think I’ve just learned how to handle my social anxiety better.
7. If you had a warning label, what would yours say?
MAY APPEAR AS THOUGH SHE IS HEARING EVERY WORD YOU’RE SAYING, BUT IS ACTUALLY LOST DEEP IN THOUGHT, MOST LIKELY IN HER NEXT BOOK WORLD.
Yep, that’s me to a T. I am trying to work on listening better, but it’s all too easy to slip into deep-in-thought mode sometimes. So you may want to make sure you have my full attention before you tell me something important!
This was such a fun tag! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
Now for the nominees . . .
